JAISARA is coined from combining "JAI" (for success) and SARA (for total). Each of the six 'J' s in our logo stands for one of our six mission objectives:

We are an 18-year old profit making, ISO-9001 company, with expertise in the manufacture of Aircraft Engine Overhaul and Production tools. This has been our specialization over the last ten years. This is now our Core Business.

Prior to this, our well-equipped precision tool room has distinguished itself in the design and manufacture of various types of production tooling for Armored Personnel Carriers and Machine Tools.

Our chief promoter Managing Director, Manohar Rao Vangoori, is a mechanical engineer with 40 years of experience in the field of Design and Manufacture of Tooling. Under his able guidance and leadership, our company has established a reputation of Excellence in Quality Tooling for leading public and private sector companies in India and abroad.

During the first eight years, we designed and manufactured Press Tools, Jigs & Fixtures, Fixtures for CNC Machines & Machining Centers, Metal Moulds & Metal Patterns and Precision Investment Casting Moulds for Private and Public sector companies, and for Ordinance Factories. The maximum size of press tool built by us weighed 16 Metric tons and was of the size 2.75 x 1.70 metres.

In 1993, we were chosen to pilot the indigenisation by Air India Limited, Mumbai, for PWA-4506 Engine Overhaul Tooling (Engines for Boeing 747-400 aircraft). This was a part of their joint effort with United Technologies International-Pratt & Whitney, USA, to get some of their required tooling manufactured indigenously for Engine Overhaul for A1, B1, B2 and B3 levels. We won this order against stiff National competition. The order had stringent quality requirements, and tough Delivery Schedules and Commitments.

Being the first pilot program of its kind, we had to have approval by UT-Pratt & Whitney, through their consultant, who was given the audit inspection function at our premises, for the entire process of manufacture. It also included load testing. We have created an exclusive facility for load test, up to ten metric tons, at our factory.


Our export of Aero-Engine Overhaul tooling started with an initial trial order for the supply of tooling valued at US $ 20,919 for UT-Pratt & Whitney, USA, the world’s leading Aero-Engine manufacturer.

This is a milestone in our efforts to become exporters of hi-tech tooling, an achievement our team is proud of. We now export on a regular basis to UT-P&W. We have already exported more than 8,000 tools, valued at over USD 1,685,000.

We have a team of dedicated workers and engineers, who have developed high level of teamwork, professional skills, and expertise, and are Committed to Excellence in Quality. We are proud to be a Zero-Attrition Rate company, on account of our Healthy Work Culture, one of our Company objectives.

We have the necessary machining facilities, and the required inspection equipment. We have recently installed a CMM machine and a SIP Hydroptic 8 Jig Borer.

We have done extensive Vendor Development. We have dependable sub-contractors for rough machining and also for specialized operations like heat treatment, plating and surface-protection treatment, material testing etc.

Our Bankers, the State Bank of India, have been most encouraging and supportive in all our activities from day one.

We are a certified ISO 9001 Company. We have initiated implementation of UTC’s ACE Program, a comprehensive system to improve quality.
