Our initiation into aircraft engine overhaul tools began with in 1993 with an order from Air India, which used to import engine overhaul tools. After serving the requirements for Air India for two years, we submitted an album containing pictures of tools manufactured by us to Pratt & Whitney’s Resident Manager. Impressed by the products and after further scrutiny, the world’s leading aero-engines maker gave us a sample order, which was completed to their satisfaction. Our regular exports to UT-P&W started in Feb 1996. Now 95% of our capacity is dedicated to exports.
   
Extract from a letter received by us from Director - Engine Overhaul AIR-INDIA :

"We appreciate your efforts in the indigenisation of the Engine Overhaul tools which has saved considerable amount of foreign exchange. The quality of the tools manufactured has been found satisfactory.

We are pleased to note that you are already exporting similar toolings directly to the Aero-Engine manufacturer like Pratt & Whitney".

An extract from a letter received by us:

"Jaisara Tooling Systems (P) Ltd has earned pride for India in Manufacturing & saving Foreign Exchange equivalent of Rs.9 Crores. The survey was made on the Quality of the tools manufactured by them and was finally approved by Our representative of Pratt & Whitney which rightfully made them as a vendor. From Feb 1996 onwards they have proved our ability to continue manufacturing of quality tools, and have been given the permission for self inspection & dispatch of tooling to the U.S. ordered by Pratt & Whitney ".
We have so far exported more than 8000 tools to Pratt & Whitney Plant at East Hartford, CT., U.S.A. All the tools have been accepted. We continue to be one of Pratt & Whitney key suppliers.
